The History of The Pearl Farm:

The oldest pearl farm on the Atoll of Fakarava.

Discover the perle de Tahiti with Joachim and Clotilde, in the oldest and most reputable pearl farm on the atoll of Fakarava.

The pearl farm was born in 1989 by a family association. The nacres was first collected naturally in the ocean. The nacres was then introduced into the lagoons of Fakarava which led to the birth of cultured pearls of Tahiti in the neighboring islands.

The adventure had a difficult beginning, everything was to be learnt and innovated, the collecting and cleaning was done without breathing apparatus and predators were already present.

The little family association was divided into three: Mateata, originally from the atoll of Fakarava, helps Joachim when he dives for the nacres and the Japanese greffor for the technical part.

This multi ethnic trio is a success for the little pearl farm of Hawaiki on the atoll of Fakarava. The pearl farm of Havaiki grows little by little, without growing too rapidly. The pearl farm of Havaiki has preserved its pioneering character and the passion to embellish the Tahitian black pearl. The pearl farm of Havaiki has experienced many magic moments exploring and creating the perle de Tahiti.

The pearl of Hawaiki of Fakarava is more than a simple jewel from nature... it's the accomplishments of man from the four corners of the world and rejoin our origins.

Historique:
