When you visit Fyn, Aero or Langeland, you will experience a rural setting. Houses are covered with thatched roofs and picturesque windmills

For the cyclist, you can cycle around Fyn. Its gentle hills and stunning scenery makes the ride most enjoyable. Visit the seaside town of
Keterminde and you will find yourself in another world. The town itself very quiet and peaceful with impressive sandy beaches.
Travel the short distance to the Hindsholm peninsula for a historical experience. Here you will find a rural area that is delightfully dotted
with 16th century churches and old, half timbered farmhouses. Walk over the cobblestone streets of the small town of Faaborg and imagine you are
wearing traditional Danish shoes known as "clogs". You will then know it must have sounded centuries ago. Most of the older quarters of
Faaborg retain much of their 17th century roots.
Should you decide to journey over to Langeland Island, then you will find that this long and narrow island has plenty of fine sandy beaches and
a wealth of cycle paths.
Langeland is a great place for bird watching and has a few sanctuaries located in the south of the island.
Needless to say, Langeland is dotted with farming villages and windmills. Here you will find a casual way of life.
In the town of Tranekaer you will find a striking salmon coloured castle that dates from 1200. Here you can also enjoy a traditional Danish
meal at one of the local restaurants.
Be brave a take a trek off the beaten track to visit Aero... you will be glad you did. Aero is a an idyllic little island with rolling hills
and thatched houses.
Aero is home to the enchanting little town of Aeroskobing that has been preserved in its entirety. Casually walk down the narrow cobblestone
streets and absorb the atmosphere. You will walk away with admiration and appreciation for the 17th century houses and their decorative doorways.
